Thread: yea-uh. got a new job and it's gonna be pretty sick...

so i'm going to be working in vallejo as a mechanic for classic cars for my dad's best friend (who happens to be a 40 Billionaire, note the B). He has 3 shops including a body shop. This is where i'll be most of the summer starting next week. Also, idk if any of you have heard of "The Great Race" but I'm going to be paid to be driving and acting as a mechanic in it. It's a classic car endurance race from San Rafael, CA to Philadelphia and back. I'll be doing the CA to Philly trip and then flying back. = Total sickness. The race starts either june 16th or 17th. I'll know more on monday when i go down to the shops and stuff.

Just felt like posting this cuz im stoked.

its actually my dads best friend lol. but yeah i dont have my own digital cam so im bringing like 3 disposable ones to put on cds. cant wait....oh and im thinkin video is out :cry:

where in San Rafael? i go there alot to visit my gf at college and the only parking lot that seems big enough to start the race at is the mall parking lot.

yeah i cant wait. i'm leaving thursday night cuz im driving one of the cars (in a trailer) to philly which should take like 5 days. Then we spend like 3 days testing it and prepping it. then the race starts and its 14 days long. im bringing like 3 disposable cameras. there will be classic car shows each night, oh, and did i mention that im meeting Jack Roush? Buck is apparently really good friends with him, so I'll get to hang with Jack a lot. ooh its gonna be fun.
