I almost fell out of my chair yesterday when I saw a $19 dollar Greddy rip off BOV on ebay
then about a hour later this guy comes in needing some oil lines for a 2g......yea after a few of his questions I ask him, What are you working with???
He brings in this big box and sets it on the counter and no sh%t on the side of the box it says
"MasterPower Turbo Kit"
"Made in China"
It had everything in one box, turbo, I/C,tube manifold, wastegate, o2 dump, and bov.......all for $750...
He says I just got this on ebay and I need the rest of the stuff to make it work on my car.......

The build quality of this crap was just that, the thread size on the oil feeds for the turbo was an in between size not sae and not metric.
I pretty much told him these companies just capitalize on the cheap DSM'er and they figure that everything on their cars hardly works so why not make the "Turbo Kit" a total pos, or they make it so the owner has to go on a wild goose chase to find some odd ball fittings to make it work or just hammer their old stuff in there and cross thread the crap out of it.
I told him good luck getting a shop to install that stuff.

Yeah, the housing looks like it was held together by Elmers Glue. Even the casting looks like the same material you find in the wrist-watches from a 25cent gumball machine.

yep, that guy working on the car has estimated about a high 12's 1/4 mile.....
I'd probably buy the FMIC, but I'd be sketchy about the rest of the components.

I am getting to the point to where I can no longer defend 1g owners.. EVERY 1g I see or read about is a dirty, oil leaking, booger welded, zip tied hack job piece of crap. The last straw was at Sacraceway last month where I got a chance to see the worlds slowest 1g AWD car ever make a high 17 second pass.
I don't blame the 2g guys for flaming them.

that car on tooners needs to be taken away from its owner!! I need to start a DSM CPS (Car Protective Services) or something CHRIST!!
And what the hell is a Waistgate??!!?? a fancy word for the bumhole??

that looks horrible... even Shantel said it looks like crap.
