So my registration sticker is a little past due. Oct 2004. :P I let my brother take my car to Taco Bell the other day. On the way there he gets pulled over by a dickhead cop. The cop interrogates my bro a little bit then lets him go because he was not the primary driver on the insurance card.

Anywho, I get a ticket in the mail a couple days ago saying I have been cited for

1) Modified Exhaust
2) Front windows tinted
3) Expired registration

How do I take car of the tint and exhaust? I already submitted my registration. Do I have to take all the tint off? That would be a PITA. And I'm guessing I'd have to get a stock exhaust and go to the police station and have it signed by a po?

Noooo. This is the 2nd time I've gotten pulled over with it. The first time they let me go but they got it on videotape. :roll: Noooo..

You can pay the fine and not worry about the "fix-it" part. The window tint is $90 here and I'm not sure what the exhaust is. I hate California!!!

i wish mine was $90....i got my ticket in the mail and its $125 for the tint

As for the tint, I would try and find another pair of windows do you can just change them out every time you get a ticket,
With the exhaust, I have realized that its not so much how loud the car is its how big and shiney that muffler and tip are, When I had my Talon the exhaust was 3.5" all the way out the back with a Borla XR-1 race muffler, it was LOUD!!! I never got a ticket, because it was painted black, and maybe the fact that the car looked completely stock on the outside save for the huge I/C and the sewer pipe dumping out the back

yeah i was thinking about just changing the windows but isnt that hard... all my friend told me my exaust isnt that loud, i even have a resonator on it. he just wanted to give me a ticket for something.

changing the windows take me a little over an hour for both sides, if you have a early 95 its a little harder.

I didn't see any prices on the ticket. How do I know how much the fines are?
