    Jon here is a web site that tells you that you have to trim the main bearing caps. I know that this guy is doing a 2.4L and not a 2.3L. http://www.pinktemple.com/stroker.html

    Did you have to do this??

    How much does M&S charge for a short block??

    How long did it take you to do the engine build up??

    Same set up

    4g63 turbo block
    6 bolt 4g64 crankshaft
    4g63 rods or aftermarket

    yea you have to trim both caps and the block in two spots, but that is why you dry fit everything, mark it and do all the grinding BEFORE the block goes to the machine shop, then you still clean the crap out of it before putting it all together.

    I love that he re-used his old oil pump on a fresh motor :roll:
    Typical hack job, nice o2 housing too...

    new oil pumps/ front case from Mitsu are $180
