    Default Old Dirty-- Colt Smog

Hey has the colt been smoged?? If it has what kind of numbers was it?? Still thinking about the 2.3L Stroker and just wanted to see if the different displacement effected smog numbers a lot. I have to start taking my car apart and smog it. I think being 15 years old it would be easy if everthing was working correctly.

    Thanks

I wondered the same thing when I was working on my hornet. I called the smog ref asking if I bored it out to 360 from 304 if it would matter... they said they don't care about the internal displacement if it's the same motor that was in there. I'm guessing as long as you have all the smog equipment outside, you should be okay with a little more displacement inside.

Yea the 2.4l passed no problem with ALL stock fuel system parts, i.e injectors, pump, MAS, and a new cat

I have been wating to see if it would so I could just drop the 2.3 into my Talon, now I know it will so its on its way.

Cool that sounds great. Jon by the way I got a polished crank from KarKing for $225 to the house. You want to make some money buy about 10 or so then sell those them at double the price. Like you told me you(M&S) were selling them for about $400+. I will go in with you if you want to the guy has 2 left and is getting 30 in a couple of weeks.

Thanks I also send you a email to your work about parts
