    Default I almost wrecked!!

For those of you that were not at Sacraceway on Saturday night for my little incedent with the RX-7
I was running the 240 all night untill the last hour or so so I put the slicks on the RX-7
So I nail a great launch and get a 1.43 60' everything is going fine untill just after the 3-4 shift the car starts pulling left a bit so I correct for it, just about to grab 5th then it GOES HARD left so I lift and steer and the back end comes out I head back at the rh gaurdrail and then back to the lh just steering, no brakes no throttle it goes back RH and I am sliding free of the rail so I lock up the breaks and come to a stop after the traps in the RH lane.......yea anyone have a spare pair of shorts??? from looking at the video and the slip I can see that it started after the 1/8th mile because my 1000ft time was a bit slower than the 1/8th......108MPH!!! it did not clock a 1/4 run because I was sideways in the other lane

Come to find out today as I was working on the car I found the Toe Link on the RH side was broken off at the subframe, from the launch, maybe but that caused the RH rear tire to toe OUT when I lifted

I am just glad there was not another person in the other lane otherwise it would have been real ugly

The car is Ok and I was a bit shook up
next time I am running little skinnies up front, and all new bolts out back

Oh and a rich dude was out there in a new SL65 running 10.80's with his seat massager on

I almost died last night. My friends outer tie rods came out of the knuckle on both front wheels....On highway 101 northbound, just before the highway 12 exit, in Santa Rosa. This was in a 94 3kgt...

Daaaamn! Man I'm glad you're alright! That's pretty insane....But I'm sure you've seen some other close calls in your day with how sideways you normally get. Anyway, im relieved nothing happened to you.

Thanks to everyone that came out! you all kept me sane in my moment of crazyness
Anyways I just ordered some different wheels and a pair of 4" skinnies for the front

I am looking to get her back on the track this week sometime for good slide free runs

    with a 1.4 60' and a 108 mph 1/8th that will be good for easy high 10's

    the 240 went pretty good for a de-tuned 305 rwhp 12.5 @112 mph with a 1.7 60'
