    Default Need to tune the car this week...

    Anybody who knows how willing to help out? I'll say it now that I don't know squat about tuning.
    I have a wideband to help.

    not yet. UPS is waiting on the box to ship my exhaust in back to AMS. then AMS will send me my exhaust. i'll let you know as soon as that comes in.

    you get my message this weekend?

    Nope, my nextel is a piece of crap I am sure all the grinder sparks don't do it too well either!! HAHA

    haha. i had called to ask about my idle issues.

    the idle changes constantly. sometimes it idles at 1500rpm-1800rpm consistent. sometimes at 230rpm (not good). sometimes at 800-850rpm (where i want it) but it bounces up and down between that and 1k rpm (literally bounces).
    sometimes when i start the car it dies immediately and i have to hit the gas and hold it at 1k rpm otherwise it'll die. sometimes it doesn't do that.
    sometimes when i push the clutch in, the idle drops too low for it to sustain itself and it dies.

    the only fix that i've figured out so far is that when it starts to act stupid, i'll tighten the BISS screw all the way and then loosen it until it idles at 900-1krpm and it won't die when i push the clutch in.

    any ideas?

    the wideband says i'm between 13.0-15.5 A/F (it changes because the idle moves). timing jumps around on DSMLink when i'm logging it.

    Have you checked for massive vac/boost leaks? And I mean pressure test, not feel around or listen.

    soapy water test blows. Make a boost leak tester and come over, we will do it here.
