    Default Referee

Long story short I want to take my car to a referee and get it certified as an AWD vehicle (used to be a gst) does anyone have any info on what I should do and how long it would take to get all of the paper work done?

Its not to hard, they will even issue you a new VIN and "blue tag" the door and the fire wall.

You just want to make sure ALL of the parts on your car are accounted for, recipts for EVERYTHING you purchased
I sill have the recipts on file for the parts you bought, I can reprint them if you need, or even make you up a few....hehe shhhhhh.

You also want to make sure there are NO parts on your car with out CARB E.O. numbers
and I am pretty sure a GT35r does not have a number HAHA.

    Oh and a Cat.

It does not cost anything to get your car blue tagged also!! HAHAHA

They don't do smogs there they will put a Ref sticker on the door jambs if it has a legal engine swap in it,
then you have to take it to a test only station.

They just asume the parts are stolen, or if you provide a bill of sale from the person you bought the parts from with a copy of their registration and drivers licence then it will fly,

I just had a friends Toyota Landcruiser get investigated by the CHP for "stolen" parts, he had chevy axles under it.
he just took it there to get his 5.0 V8 swap inspected, they had his truck for 2 months checking out his info on the axles
