Default Any one in here using the Greddy Counter weight shift knob?

Apparantly, the 2g leather shift knob on my 1g is falling apart or something. Sometimes when I shift, there's a whole bunch of leather pieces flaking off.

I've been looking at aftermarket shift knobs.

The one that I read the best reviews on was the Greddy counter-weight shift knob. It weight 13.5 ounces supposedly.

If any of you guys have this shift knob or have heard anything about it, give some feedback.....I'm probably gunna buy it saturday or so.

I have the Greddy CW shiftknob. I think it's an awesome shift knob. It's alot heavier than anything out there so it makes the shifts feel alot cleaner. The only downsides are it gets hot as hell in the summer and it gets scratched pretty easy. My knob is pretty scratched up just from my hand.

what da heck? the metal is scratched up just from your hand?

I don't mind the hot or cold, the red car that its going in is always garaged. Maybe tinted windows would help out with the heat in the summertime.

i think Adam wears a ring and it get's scratched up? That's my guess and only an assumption. the GReddy Counter weight knobs are nice but in the summer if you park in sunlight then you will burn your hand off trying to touch the knob.
