    Default Hello again...

Sorry I've been away for a while. Shit really does hit you all at once. For those that need an explination, it would go in this order: Breakup, family crisis, financial crisis, friend loss. Going through too much right now has kept me preoccupied. But gotta keep your head up right? I'll be in talks with Frank on possibly taking over the boards if financies really look bad. Site could use a nice facelift and better care anyways... Anyway, things are looking better for me. Thought I'd share with you pictures of the new ride.

And here is the progression of the car from start to today:

Working on building the 2.2 closedeck STi turbo motor right now, so the engine is WIP. I'll throw up some pics of how it's looking in a sec...

Shit list apparently was too much for you kids to handle so I took it down. Just makes me feel upset the things people would say on a board I don't ask a dime for from you guys. You would think maturity would kick in right? I guess thats too much to ask for. Anyway, no need to reply about this subject. Here is a shitty engine shot since I can't seem to upload anything right now:

i'm really into wrx andstuff, but not to hate, taht doesn't look too good to me, it seems like too much waste of money when you could just save a bit more and get a maybe salvage wrx or something? i'm not sure though, sorrrryyyyyy no hate intended.

I'm flattered you would think that it cost me more then a salvaged WRX :) But you're looking at a total of $5500 after everything is said and done, including engine! A) They never released that year STi here in the states, B) I can pass smog with that STi engine in it because its a OBDI (1993). The body style that it is now they only released in 99-01, which is OBD2...impossible to do engine swaps here in CA. Thankfully they used the same body from 93-01, just different bumpers and spoilers. Even better, they used the same engine design from 93-06. So anyway, the break down of the car goes like this:

    93 impreza awd: $1500
    body parts: $1000
    paint: $1200
    engine: $950
(Investing money on engine build): $850
The look on peoples face when I tell them it's a 1993...priceless.
