Thread: Which 2.4 Crankshaft---Dirty???

I have been looking around and I can buy a 4g64 crank or a G4CS crank. Which is better??? What do you have??

KarKing sells them for $130 + $40 for shipping. Used crankshafts no reman..Is this a good price???

Also do you have to do anything to the block to put the crank in ie cutting the sides so that it fits???

For the 2.3L Crankshaft it doesn't matter where I get the crank car or truck???
Like you said before a 90-92' Mitsubishi 2.4l truck short block is good enough??

Then take everything a part myself. What do I do with the rest of the enging ie block, rods, pistons??? All I need is the crank shaft.

Your thoughts are go to "pick and pull" and save money by doing the work your self.
