    Default What's up Sac-Dsm! Haven't posted in a while

Hey what's up everybody? Haven't posted in a while. Been busy with school and the Dsm. Got some recent pics of some recent projects and thought I'd get your opinions. I'm looking forward to heading out Sac Raceway soon and hope there's more of a DSM turnout than last year. Whenever someone is down to go... pm me.

First off. Bullseye exhaust housings suck! Uber bitch of an install. Bolt on my ass!

had to cut the bolt to get the lines to fit!

That pipe was a bitch to weld... haha

We clocked my B16G... why? I don't know.

    Pretty, black, freshly painted pipes

My set up as of now:
    Clocked Big 16G
2G ported O2 housing w/ custom dump tube
    3in. Turbo back w/ cat
Big ass Ebay IC w/ custom 2.5in piping
    2G MAS w/ custom 3-2.5in intake
    550's
    Denso 190
    S-AFC 2
    Fidanza flywheel
    SBR 3500 clutch kit
    Shep Tranny
+ Misc. crap not worth mentioning

If some of you recall... I only got my previous dsm (fwd) to 14.2 @ 99.5 w/ a waaayyy crappier setup.
If this doesn't get me to mid 13's or lower... uuuhh... I can't drive!

    Is that a 16g breathing through 3" I/C piping???

also clocking that housing made the wastegate install kinda weird, would it have been eaiser to just make a j pipe and keep the stock location on the gate actuator?

On a side note who did you rob for those stock EVO wheels??

3in. ...no 2.5in The intercooler though has 3in. inlet and outlet.
Wastegate actuator setup is all funky. Yes it would have been easier to keep the stock position but we decied to get allitle creative and it didn't turn out 100% as expected. On that note, the wastgate actuator pictured failed after a few runs. The flapper wasn't opening and shutting completly. Right now I'm using an actuator off a 50trim held on by a bracket that we bolted up to the stock actuator bolt holes on the compressor housing. Should get a picture of that posted soon. Yes, it looks a bit funky but it works!

Those EVO 8 wheels were a steal! I bought them before I even bought the car! Guy in the shop next door to my buddies runs a tow truck service and sometimes snags some good parts. He tried to fit those wheels on his Legend but they didn't fit properly. He sold the rims to me for $350 w/ tires! 235/45/17's with about 50% tread left. Right now those tires are pretty damn bald and I'm gonna be replacing them soon. You still in the market for used tires Johnathan?

That heatshield is HARD CORE!!! Thats one crazy dump tube! OFFICE SUPPLIES! Only a dsmer's have that kind of ingenuity. When are you coming to sac? Our cars are looking pretty similar now, yours is just shinier. Was it your clutch disc that went at sac raceway?

What's up Josh!? No, it wasn't the clutch disc. I took out that act2600 and it was fine. I passed it on to a buddy that needed it and he's running it now. Put in the SBR3500 kit and we assembled it properly and now my car shifts better. But nowhere near good... not like a shep tranny supposed to for sure. I hope to be rolling up to Sac Raceway by the end of this month if all goes well. How's your ride doing?

It's sitting in the back yard and I don't know what to do with it! It still has the engine chilling in it but alot was parted out. I gotta pull the longblock and send the shell to the yard I guess. The owner of the house is pretty pissed at me for not getting rid of it yet...

How is the new clutch? I was thinking about trying that one out.

My car is down as of yesterday, went to pull my bullseye t04b to put a high pressure wastegate actuator on and broke 2 turbo to manifold bolts. Drilling those out is going to f@$%ing suck! Ive pulled that thing off 3 times and every time I screw up at least 1 bolt.
