    Default Dsm Link Anybody???

I got DSM Link about a month ago. I have a 1G GSX pretty tuned up in bolt-ons. Was seeing after talking to Dan and Rich--From cowtown if any one knows how to tune with dsmlink and who is willing to teach a person who wants to learn about the fueling part of the DSM.

How much psi does a stock 6 bolt with 75K handle and be safe on the motor?? I was guessing around (18-20psi)..

    Thanks

i sorta know the ins and outs, most of which i was taught by 98spyderT on here. i will be teaching it to THCue in the coming week.

also, since you have teh link, why not just look up shit on the dsmlink forums? lots of way way way better info there than Tuners.

do a 3rd gear log, post it on the site, get suggestions.

Check w/ "Ricky99GSX" on Cowtown, he lives on Travis and has been tuning w/ DSM Link for a few years now, hope that helps you :)

its really not that hard to tune wih dsmlink, move some sliders, do some pulls, and just keep adjusting to what the pulls are showing you. pretty easy to just teach yourself with dsmlink.

Yea I was looking for some one that is local so that I could see how they did it. Also have a conversion instead of typing my responses on the internet. I don't want to seem like a Dumb Ass because I don't know anything about this yet... I know that is were we all start from but some people(dsmtuners) get mad at questions that are easy to answer, from my personal knowledge.

But thank you for the reply I will contact Ricky

Ok I was worred about too much knock and blowing the motor. You have more time tuning then I because you had a AFC, right?? I don't know anything about the fuel trims and so on..

for basic tuning with dsmlink all you have to do is set the global injector size, u can turn off different sensors and such and that pretty much it. just changing the injector size with the link helps out a lot. i would fool with the timing maps or fuel maps unless you really know what you are doing
