    Default front bumper L plate legalities???

    so does the front bumper L plate need to be bolted on... i have a fix it ticket and am thinkin of ziptyin that ish down so i can cut it off after... i dont wanna drill holes =T anyone know?

    It doesn't specify that it has to be bolted or screwed in and just states:

    License plates shall at all times be securely fastened to the
    vehicle for which they are issued so as to prevent the plates from
    swinging, shall be mounted in a position so as to be clearly visible,
    and shall be maintained in a condition so as to be clearly legible.



    So if you zip tie it real well it should be legal :D

    No problem! Hopefully the cop will allow it to pass and write it off. Some interpret laws differently then others. If they give you a hard time just say that you are in the process of purchasing a bracket but this is a temporary solution.

    I did that exact same thing when I was in high school. I was retarded enough to cut the damn thing off after the cop walked back inside

    I just got new plates for the 240 just because I did not have a front plate, and I don't want to have to deal with the B.S. of getting sent to the ref :(
