    Default the Nerf Thread

insteat of screwing with the theft thread with loads of nerf inquiries, lets make a new one.

here is what i used to rock

ahh i miss this one, my bow n arrow, after i stuck tight ass rubber bands isntead of the weak elastic. midrange weapon

aah my eagle eye. if it wasnt for the cocking mechanism breaking in half, id still ahve it. had a wannabe laser sight(light bulb that refracted off a magnifying glass) that was activated when the trigger was pressed more than 1/4. good midrange weapon.

ooh my manta ray, AKA "shield of death". could fire individual shots of 2 darts(left or right bank) or fire all 4(both banks) at once, and could be used as a effective shield when advancing in the living room to kitchen during massive ballzooka bombardment. short-midrange weapon

my favorite, the sawtooth. after modding it to a larger spring that is. held a clip of 5 darts and could reload relatively fast, and was accurate after the bigger spring. barell could be used as a scope, or set to make a longer barrell(which i used), also came with a foldable stock for sniping. midrange weapon.

my close quarters sidearm, the warthog. fires 2 mini-darts, and light and easy to stick in a pocket. short range only

ooh another favorite, the crossbow. instead of the elastic cord, i used rubber bands from a K'Nex set(thick long ones) that sucker shot hella far after that, and was deadly accurate. mid-long range

aah the supermaxx. this sucker kicked ass, and was THE MOST accurate and packed quite a whallop, stuck darts to almost every surface that was somewhat flat, and was cool cause it was a 6-shooter kinda gun with the rotating chamber. pulling the trigger half way rotated the chamber 1 barrel, so you could use different colored darts(if you played to where different darts hurt more i guess?) excellent anything weapon, even unmodified. could snipe across the house, and small/light enough to work good in close quarters.

the infamous ballzooka. inaccurate as hell, used as a last ditch option for incoming attackers with shielding(such as the manta ray). held 15 balls, so it could dish it out. short-midrange weapon.

another variant of the crossbow. this one just fired darts, not arrows. my buddy had it, and i was always jealous, but my supermaxx 1000 was better. mid-long

i never owned these all at the same time, they usually broke within a month, or i ran out of ammo and just bought a new gun instead of more ammo. sucked being a kit, you never had the money you wanted to have to get the guns/ammo you needed to have the war/battles you wanted.

man, i could take 100 bucks and rebuy all my old nerf guns off ebay...........

those fucking sucked. that backpack weighed like 100lbs, and the really thin straps to hold it on your back dug into your skin. and you had to extend the whole gun out like 5 feet(to fill the chamber with water) then compress it to shoot it. then that backpack only lasted a little over 7 full salvo's.

i had this one and loved it

i think i had to throw it away cause the pumper piston shattered. it had the gauge on the side that the more you pumped, the more % it was filled, i remember it took like 20 pumps to pump to 100%, and it drained the tank of 1/2 its contents. i usually used it alot in the pool, so the gun was basically weightless underwater, and being underwater, unlimited ammo. we played alot of water wars in the pool cause we were weak asses. same with the backpack one, it stayed in the pool area, walking to the front yard or anywhere with a full tank on your back was suicide.

The super soaker thomas has was cool. I had many before it but that one was dangerous. I seen that sucker knock down some of my smaller friends back in the day....the only real downside was it ran out of ammo really fast..
