Default FYI: 2g Talon TSI AWD at Pick&Pull Rocklin

Just though you guys would like to know. It's a green 2g awd, auto, everything but the 7bolt motor is there. Body Apparently is pretty straight. The awd talons all came with gray leather didn't they? Well, I personally didn't see it, but Eugene was there today and just wanted to let you guys know in case you wanted something off it (2g mas, tranny, door panels, leather crap, etc)

Went to snag the throttle body elbow, but the whole engine is gone.
Maf is in the trunk and its an automatic.
2ga body style and the headlights dont look like they have any fogginess in them. I didnt check if it had leather

If your headlights are fogy, just wet sand them with 1000 grit and then 1500 and hit it with a buffer

and then repeat a week later. been there, done that.

once theyre fogged up, theyre done, sanding/buffing is just prolonging the need to just get new ones. and with the invention of ebays super cheap replacements(a pair of replacements is half the price of a single replacement from satan), you might as well just get new ones and save yourself the trouble. my cousins GS had the drivers side lamp fogged up(2gA) like every other GS/RS ive seen, i sanded it, waxed it, looked crystal clear. and since his car was in the garage for a good month, i just stuck the lamp on the shelf. later that month, its fogged up again.

It was probably because you waxed it. Waxing the lens is just going to fill the scratches up, where as buffing will actually melt them down. It is like when you get it wet, you can't tell its been sanded but once it dries you can tell. If you have any problem getting the headlights super shiney, try some 3000 grit on a DA.

Does anybody know how much the headlights cost at pick n pull? I might have to go out there and molest that car...

Hey, does Eugene ever get on here? I haven't seen him since the last time we were both over at Lynette's. Gotta love the GeoCamino :D
