    Default Roseville PD

Just saw on the news Roseville PD is doing a "street racing" crackdown. They interviewed some officers, and they said they are pulling over any car that is modified no matter what they are doing. They said that is how they prevent street racing and for just modifying the car you face fines of up to $1000. So just a heads up.

lol! np. I watched it with my dad and of course he sided with the police. pfft. I told him it was stereotyping but he didn't want to hear it lol. After reviewing the CA laws with Lee, we have concluded that you can legally carry a rifle or shotgun in your car as long as it unloaded, yet if you put an intake on your car then you will be fined. Gotta love CA!

Funny you mention that. In Geology the professor was explaining that in "normal" circumstances, (meaning the San Andreas fault continues it's current movement and no catastrophic events occur to stop it) that in 10,000,000 years LA will be right next to SF and a fair amount of CA will be in the ocean :D

I saw it too Shane, my dad's CHP buddies have the same attitude, but BECAUSE they are CHP are not allowed to skirt the vehicle stop rules as bad as Roseville guestapol is going to do.

We all know the argument, if it TRULY, SINCERELY was about driving safety, the drivers that screw up would would get it, but its all about the money and how much of it they can shake drivers down for.

Poop rolls downhill... the State is broke, so rather than raise taxes, which I'm glad they didn't, they have found other "creative" ways to raise revenue as a tradeoff. Increased Commercial vehicle license fees, more red light camera intersections, an alarming amount of Traffic Enforcement cars patroling the county and the Ricer shakedown as we all know too well.
If you and I do it, it's called racketeering and extortion... when cops do it, it's called law enforcement.

..... but in this case, Roseville City Council is out of control.
