Thread: Downpipe Coming Soon.....

Well I ordered a Megan Downpipe, and I should be getting it on Wed. Is there any one on here that would want to help a newb like me install it. I live in Roseville, but I wouldnt mind driving up to say 30 minutes or so from here. If any of you could help me, Id greatly appreciate it, Thanks. pCe

Be sure to spray the bolts from now until Wednesday if possible. It's a very simple install which only requires you to remove some bolts. The part that takes the longest is jacking the car up high enough :)

If you remove the stock dp and cat at the same time its only 4 nuts (and 1 little bolt if you include the grounding strap connected to the exhaust), no o2 sensor removal required.

Also I would reccomend you put that grounding strap back on the megan dp (it has a place for it) when you install it.

Indeed you are right, i'm just not posting when im tired anymore :) No o2 to remove on the DP.

I think i have a dilemma now tho...Marco didnt make a new flange for the 3in to connect to the cat, instead they jus necked it down and welded it to the stock pipe. So once i get my DP, ill have a major bottle neck.....any suggestions?? Thanks, pCe

I was asking them to do that when i took it to Marco but they said they couldnt or some shit..... And now theyll prob charge me more money...GRRRRR
