Thread: manifold

can anyone tell me where the bolts are and how many there are to remove the exhaust manifold?? i need to get to the turbo and i was told that is the easiest way.. well hoollla if you know

To completley remove the manifold theres a total of 13 bolts (not including the heat shield) 9 12mm and 4 14mm. First remove the 9 bolts holding the exhaust manifold to the head (becareful if you have a 1g these bolts tend to break). After those are removed then take of the 4 bolts holding on the turbo. After that the manifold should come right out.
