I guess if there was enough crud in there to block off some tubes it would deffinetly increase the flow through the IC. But the main thing it should do is let the IC work. It's a simple heat exchanger. Heat is exchanged from the hot pressurized air inside to the aluminum and then to the outside air. If there's a nice caked on layer of crud between the air and aluminum, it can't do it's job.

Ignore him, he's been like that from day one. Keyboard tuner is what most refer to those people as.

Simple 2 word answers backed up by absolutly nothing technical get you replys like mine. Has the anyone ever proven on a dyno that is DOESN'T work? Just because it hasn't been "dyno proven" doesn't mean it doesn't work. I sure as hell wouldn't waste my time on a dyno trying to prove something like that. It increases the intercoolers efficiency, plain and simple. Is it going to give you 25whp? No. Is it worthwhile? Yes.
yeah guy. im a keyboard tuner. ive built/driven more fast cars than everyone on this board combined. so tell me, how many sub 12 second cars have you owned/built?

    Hey guys,

We're all here to help each other out. Keep the playing field level and show respect to other members. We're all pretty much local after all and it would suck to burn some bridges...you never know what person might lead to something that benefits your mod future. John, no need to leave man. You're always welcome here to post and you won't have your account deleted. I will have a talk with the mods here, and that also goes to show everyone else that if you have a problem with how we come accross, don't be afraid to PM us and try to keep arguments off the boards. I'll just lock this thread and say that this was just a small misunderstanding. Apologies for both sides.

    Manny
