Thread: AWD starter vs FWD starter

Anybody knows if thay are the same on 2g?The part # are the same.

Should be. I used an AWD 1G starter on my old 2G GST and it worked just fine. I think the only difference is the mounting position of the starter. Though I did find it interesting that one of the starters was shorter than the other, it still worked :shrugs:
