Well, after my baby taking me through the everglades without a hitch, I decided she needed some TLC. so today I installed a starion FMIC with modded end tanks I had laying around. I was gonna use it on my 1g but I soon found out it was only 2" entrance so I decided to put it on the DD. I used the stock hoses. I also nuled the P. steering cooler and looped it back using one of the lines. Mods feel free to move this to the FMIC write up section if you deem it worthy.
well, like every other FMIC install I started by removing the bumper. then I removed the
PS cooler. I looped the PS hose back to it's original position.

I then removed the hood support. Some people trim it more, but I figured leaving as much metal as possible was better for support. I tried to see if the hood would open and close ok without it, but it won't. This part needs to be put back on the car.

Then I made some brackets. I had some nice aluminum slabs laying around so I used those.
I made my brackets adjustable, that way it would be easier to center the FMIC and put it in correct height as well.

I then cut the longer hose to fit and it just so happens that the left over hose was exactly the right length of hose that I needed on the otherside. The rest was putting her back together. What I loved about it is that i didn't have to hack up the bumper. I height hacking up these cars.well here goes. More pics will be up soon. Memory card got full at the shop.
