Im thinking about a 1gb and i have a spare 6bolt I want to build for it.
Does anyone know if you will have to deal with the same CAS and motor mount issues when swapping a 6bolt into a 2g? or is it a direct drop in for a 1gb?

Its all the same pretty much between 1ga and 1gb as far as motor mount location and CAS compatability is concerned.
so pretty much just the flywheel is different and maybe the clutch depending on bolt paterns for the pressure plate.
Just a direct drop in?

Yeah the only difference is the flywheel, the clutch / pplate is the same. If your using an older 1G cas on the newer style pigtail, you might have to modify that or get a newer style cas, but thats probably it. Everything else is drop in.
