    Default brake options

i wanna put a sweet set of brakes on my 98 gsx. i was wandering what can fit, even if it took custom fabbing anyone know what will or wont fit? i wanna run 18x8.5 rims with an offset. i saw a dude put porche calipers on his accord once. that was sweet.

with an offset? all rims have an offset?

    You mean staggered?

Like different widths front and back?

No can do on a gsx..

All wheels and tires must be absolutely identical..

Besides.. Even if you were to do it.. You are extremely limited on how wide of a rim/tire you can fit on a 2g gsx without the tires poking out the sides of the car and looking like a mexicali ride (No offence to our members from south of the border)...

The effect of staggered rims will be almost impossible to see.. like 8 up front and 8.5 out back.. Sure if they break out a large set of calipers they could tell.. but its not like your going to get some deep dish rims out back or anything..

For brakes id go with what works.. Like some nice stoptechs..

I wouldnt go trying some stupid one off wonder brake setup just to be different.. Thats reserved for honduhs.. (as you mentioned)

Don't quote me on this, cause I have no idea, but I thought I read something about the possibility of using 3000GT brakes on a DSM... ?

the 3000gt brakes are an upgrade for the 1 piston gst brakes. if i am correct they are the same as us 2G's with 2 pistons.
