I have an 06 Evo IX and $3k for mods. I was wondering what would be the best bang for that money.

i'm gonna go ahead and say full turbo back since you just said exhaust, and i don't know if you meant turbo back or not.

reflash (if you get it from WORKS, you won't need an MBC.)
fuel pump
clutch
HKS hybrid drop in filter.

turbo back = $1049 with a high flow cat from AMS
HKS filter = $30
clutch = $1649-$1699 for an Exedy twin plate high pressure
fuel pump = $90
reflash = $600 from WORKS

all of that = 11 second time slips with a terrible launch.

Hey Rich, how much does an EMS cost for the Evo? Seems like $600 for a generic tune and more boost is damn near retarded. Can the AEM EMS work with the Evo? Aren't they only about $1000?

NM, ~$1600. Still... It's like buying an eprom chip for $100 for a 2G DSM or DSMLink for $600... "Duh"

WORKS P2 for sure.......what are your goals? Do you want a 1/4 mile monster or to lap fools at ThunderHill?
