i was finally putting my engine back together, when i ran into another problem... i dont have any of the torque specs that i need... can anybody tell me the torque specs and sequence for the head, and the connecting rods... thanks

From Haynes: 65 to 72 ft-lbs for the cylinder head. Order is as follows:
Front of engine ------------>
7--5--2--4--10
9--3--1--6--8
The connecting rod cap part depends on 6 bolt or 7 bolt i think according to Haynes.
92 and earlier (i assume they're talking about the 6 bolt) 36 to 38 ft-lbs
93 and later is 14.5 ft-lbs plus an additional 90 degrees rotation

If you own a DSM and don't own a manual shame on you for sure. I haven't torn apart my motor yet, but i've used my manual so many times for doing all sorts of other stuff.
yeah i'm a newbie... but luckily for me my dad has been working on car for almost 40yrs, and he is helping me... i'll probably pick up a manual in the next couple weeks
