    Default mystery headers

my brother just bought a '90 eclipse GS the other day, and he is trying to figure out what kind of headers are on it... the guy he got it from said that he just had a JDM 4g63nt motor put in it...

any ideas on what kind of headers they are??? and should he keep those ones or put on the pacesetter ones that he has?

i had no idea what kind of headers they were... i've been working on car for about 10 yrs, and ive never seen stock headers like that... they look to me like aftermarket headers that have been on there for a long time... if you say they are stock nt's, i belive you... i havent been in the DSM game for too long, and i dont really know a lot about the non turbos... thx for the input

They look exactly like the stock headers on my '91 GS. Thats the only reason why I know. :)

Actually had to replace my downpipe because the connecting bolts wouldn't break free until I had moved the engine about a foot. Damn flexpipe stopped "flexing" lol

Was a good thing the replacement was cheap.

Stock, they crack like crazy too

90% fo all new cars have "tube" style exhaust manifolds,

trucks and turbo cars are pretty much the only ones equiped with cast manys
