    Default Polishing Valve Cover

    i've seen several valve covers for sale on ebay that are polished . just wondering if anyone knows how to do one or would know where I could find the tools to polish it? Thanks

    If you want a kit shane, JCwhitney or Summitt sells kits for polishing that you use with a die grinder. They might make kits for use with a dremel too.

    Sherms plating in DPH doo great work, they would do it for around $80-100 for show quality finish, They did the wheels for the FD $80 each

    You could probably call them, I remember seeing it in the paper magazine a while back.

    You can ussually find the kits at some autoparts stores. I don't think kragens or that type will have it, but maybe napa or an independant. Also Eastwood.com will have the polishing kits along with the polishing compund. It's easy to do but time consuming. If you do decide to do it yourself remember to keep the RPMs down on the die grinder so you dont burn or leave swirl marks on the cover.
