Alright guys, I finally changed out my knock sensor because i was hiting fuel cut like crazy.Everytime I would try to overtake on the street in the morning (30 degrees or so),I would hit fuel cut and sputer everywhere.I knew my knock sensor was bad because i was getting bad phantom knock on the logger.Sure enough, the old one had a whole in the back of it.So I go out with the logger to see if my knock is gone.Boost is set at 14(1 kg/cm) psi creeping to 17 before the sensor change.Regular driving, everything seems good,no more partial throttle knock and the car seems alot looser and more willing to rev.I'm thinking maybe it's in my head but the car feels better.Floor it a couple times and start gettin knock again. .17 counts in first,29 in second, but no fuel cut at any time.I hit the highway to do my 3rd gear pulls. On WOT in third the knock starts to go up as the rpms increase and the boost keeps building, now im hittin 42 counts of knock at the top of third and the boost is at 1.3 kg wich is about 18.4 psi of boost.I can feel the car wanting to fuel cut and pulling timing as I've gotten very familiar with this feeling over the past few months. But it doesn't,7K rpms hit.I shift to 4th. No knock on 4th till the higher rpms, but never over 20 counts. What do you guys suggest.I have a 2g o2 sensor housing to install but I'm not done porting it yet.Do you guys think this will help solve my knock problem if I can manage to keep the boost lower?
