Alright, I looked all over on dsmtuners to find the correct way to adjust the idle on my 97 GST but couldn't find any concrete answers. Whats the short and quick version of it. I tried just messing with the BISS but it seems like the car just compensated (ISC?) to get it back to the original idle that it was at after a while. I've been reading about grounding but they talk about using a scan tool, which of course I don't have.

I need to bump the idle a little because with the rear ES motor mount now installed after I did the flywheel/clutch the car vibrates a lot, if I rev it up another 100-200 rpms though it smooths out.

Thanks in advance.

Oh and I decided to edit this in too when I remembered. Is it necessary to go out to the stealership and get a thermostat from them or can I just go to Napa/Autozone/Kragen/etc and get all the stuff I need there. My car is due for a cooling system overhaul anyways and the thermostat starting sticking last night so it was running cold. Some people have made cases against using thermostats other then those from the dealership (something about a smaller opening, bleh..). Is it bull or what?

Thanks again and sorry for being a pest. lol
