    Default As we speak

In the middle of swapping clutch and flywheel as I type this. Everythign is out of the car and I took the old flywheel off and was going to torque down the bolts after putting the new one on and I can't seem to find the torque specs for the flywheel bolts. (well I did, but Chilton's says one thing, Haynes says another). Is is the 90 something foot lbs one?

Another question, I was comparing the old flywheel with the new one and lining up everything and the steps are slightly rotated as compared to the old one on the fidanza...is this going to cause a problem?

100ft/lbs for flywheel to crank, use some loctite as well.

Yep, don't really need the loctite but if it makes you sleep better.

Just make sure they sent you a FWD flywheel and not a AWD other wise the starter will not engage the ring gear :(

Guess I'll just have to wait and see. There were no markings or anything on the flywheel except for some etched into. Couldn't even tell it was a fidanza if it didn't say it on the box. I'll be pissed though if its the wrong one. I waited 3 damn weeks for them bastards to get it to me.

Yeah, I checked the diameter and it is the same. All I need to do now is call Shitsu and get them to get some oil seals.

You'll have to get used to it, that's for sure.
