The easy answer = custom brackets. Jonathon's putting them on his 1G and has done the swap before so I know he can answer this the best.

I know ALOT of people have done the 3KGT SL brakes (same as the 95-99 GSX stuff) and If alot of people were doing thes I would be selling the crap out of those calipers at the shop and thats not the case, I must have 15 to 20 sets up stairs

But yes you have to make 2 custom brackets, I have templates that I built a while ago and I am going to have a shop around the corner bang me out 20 or 30 sets
Then I will put together a hardware kit and if anyone wants I can get the calipers and rotors in a kit form or just the brakets with the hardware........and they WILL NOT FIT BEHIND 16" wheels or even most 17" wheels you might have to run a small spacer, I did

arent the vr-4 calipers painted red or black and say "mitsubishi" on them? how much would you sell your kit for (including calipers, rotors, and installation hardware)?

The SL brakes have the mitsubishi letters on them too if you don't want to go huge with the VR4s. Mike just put a set on his GS-T, maybe he can post a pic. I've got the stealth or 2G AWD set on my Spyder but they don't have the mitsu letters.

The VR4s are a lot bigger and they're 4 piston rather than 2. Jonathon, if you make those brackets, I'll get a set from you.

Nooo the SL brakes look just like the brakes you have on your ride, he must have got a little crazy with Caliper paint and a stencil
You guys will be the first to get them,
The calipers are a little different year to year hear you go
91-94 4 piston caliper, all gray, 3000's said " MItsubishi" on them, the R/T stealths said nothing and rotors are 300mm these are the ones I am using
95-96 Same caliper, the rotor has holes around the hat for venting...I would not run them I have seen a few blow appart
97-99 WAYY bigger rotors like 340-350mm same crapy vent holes and a better caliper, still gray, none came red or black someone just made a trip down the spray paint isle before the brake pad isle :D
