    Default tuning for bums?

lol, im wanting to know if it would be a good or bad idea to tune off of just a/f ratio, lee told me it should be at 12 and stock the car runs a 9.9 or something close to that

im thinking of running a innovative wideband http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=3860&
and a maft, will this be enough?

12 is a little high for pump gas mike. I told you 12:1?? I'd shoot for 11:1 - 11.5:1 for our 92 oct but you'll need at least a logger to moniter your timing curve. If you dial in 11:1 but you're knocking, you'll destroy your engine eventually :(

yeah 11:1 is perfect for pump. you could easily tune with just the wideband. get to the A/F ratio you want, do a hard third gear pull then pull your plugs and check for any signs of detonation.

Without any sort of logging, I'd go a little lower to, say, 10.5:1 - 10:1. That's just me though, I like to either play it safe, or know for sure.
