    Default The Right Rebuild Kit??

I have a 97 Spyder GS-T. I am looking to rebuild. I am pushing massive pressure past the rings. I have looked on places like Slowboy racing and whatnot, but I have yet to find a complete kit for 2nd Gen 7 bolt 4G63. Anyone who can help. Please please please help me. I currently live in Vegas but I grew up in Antelope. Sactown is my home.

Topline stuff works fine except the timing belt and headgasket which should both be OEM.

DO not get the topline timing belt unless you like bent up valves.

also if you're going to be rebuilding your engine, might as well replace the head gasket with something better than OEM anyways. Mitsu MLS head gasket or the Cometic one.
always go OEM timing belt unless you get the power enterprises kevlar one.

Thanks for the info. I checked it out and there it was. I can't believe I have been to that site about 100 times and just glanced right past it. Now, new question. Has anyone done a 1G head swap to the 2G motor. I have a ported and polished 1G head ready to put on. Any mods I should know about first? Again. Thanks for all your help guys.

I've done this 3 times. You will need a 1g intake mani. If you use the 92-94 TB, you will need to route the vaccum lines according to RRE's tech guide so that your EGR will work properly. You will need a 1g water pipe, waterneck, and thermo housing. You will need a 1G cas or a 97-99 cam sensor. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. Get arp head studs, 2g stock headbolts are stretch to fit and aren't reusable.
