Thread: CRashed MY Baby today

:evil:Well,to make a long story short.I got a little to happy o the throttle on the twisties going to my folks house in fremont.Didn't do alot of damage,But i hit a rock and bent the lowr frame a little.I will need a new lower frame(where the radiator lays),bumper,supports,oil cooler & lines,condenser and radiator.Do any of you guys know a good body shop around sac?Or do you guys think I should just fix it around here?

I think the lower support is welded on right?so how would i take one fromthe junkyard?I also thinks i bent the front left chassis beam just a tinnie weeni bit,but enough to need it to be streched back out about 1/4 of an inch or so.That's why I will need a bodyshop.unless,you got one in your garage.lol.I am going to bring the car back to sac town probably next week.I gotta change the oil cooler lines since they are crushed,But all the other finned mechanisms are not leaking one drop,other than that it runs great.But yeah I was thinking of doing everything else but the frame work.So, what do you guys think,get a little more agressive front bumper and a starion intercooler?ORR just slap an used oem one back on and get a starion intercooler?all your oppinions are welcome.

Well I went to M&S and got my oil cooler today,no oil lines though.The stealership wants 110 and 120 for the oil lines,their on crack.I got a starion front mount with side exits on the end tanks for 70 bucks.And i got the condenser in a bid that will end at the end of the week.The radiator i'm gonna buy new,but the oil lines i'm not.does anybody know where i can get these oil lines?m&s don't got em,neither does anybody around including upuulit.Another guy wanted 150 for a used bumper,whaaaa,right... The kit i was looking at costs that much.well anyways,just venting... I'll keep ya guys posted on my new project.peace out.

well i finally found the oil lines after searching thru ALL the pick n pulls in sactown,ironicly,it was at the last pic and pull at the last row,3rd car from the last.got a good used radiator too.so next is the big q'.OEM VS RISQ style front bumper.Don't you guys fight over posting anything OK?

cars in the shop.Was gonna cost 540,but it got boosted 250 because of a parts issue.This cancels my front mount installation,oh well,ill just keep the fmic for future use,i don't need it installed yet anyways.

Braided steel hose, hedge trimmer, electrical tape, 8 clamps, done

I just threw the hedge trimmer in there to mess with your head.
